This webinar will focus on the tools and strategies to reduce the carbon footprint from purchasing. It will identify the most carbon-intensive products and services, and provide guidance for purchasing end-users, influencers and professionals. The discussion will draw on research and toolkit materials from the West Coast Climate and Materials Management Forum--an EPA-convened collaboration of state, local, and tribal government which focuses on developing ways to institutionalize sustainable materials management practices--as well as on insights from the Responsible Purchasing Network, an international network of buyers dedicated to socially responsible and environmentally sustainable purchasing.
